Dr. Agnieszka Gajewicz-Skrętna amongst the 15 finalists of the POLITYKA Scientific Awards
The main goal of the POLITYKA Scientific Awards program is to identify the most talented among the talented. And certifying - thanks to the authority of the members of the Professors' and Social Committee - that science is important, and that the people involved in it are often charismatic figures with amazing achievements already at an early stage of their career.
The chosen fifteen are the finalists of the first stage of the Awards. Ahead of them is the last stage, during which the Social Committee consisting not only of professors, but also of various personalities of public life – will indicate the TOP FIVE WINNERS. During the Gala Evening on 20th of October they will receive scholarships in the amount of 15 thousand PLN, while all other finalists will receive PLN 5,000 each.
To date, 302 people have been awarded the POLITYKA Scientific Awards. Thanks to POLITYKA’s partners and readers paying 1 percent of their income tax for the scholarship fund, POLITYKA gave to the scientists already almost 6.5 million PLN.
